Lower Salmon
From Roblin to Forest Mills there is only one C1 or possibily CII puzzle at the first rapid. It can be scouted but keeping it to the inside left should provide a clean run for any beginner.
The current put in is the boat launch on the east side of 41 in Roblin that is managed by the Conservation Authority. In 2016 access to the Salmon below the dam changed. The house on river left has a road out to the highway so the road access to the bridge we had was stopped. The owner tilled the road and planted seed.
If you want to make a day of it, it is a beautiful paddle down to Kingsford Mills.

The waterfall at the old Mill in Forest Mills is impressive. Run or portage. :D
Buttermilk Falls downstream of Forest Mills is beautiful.
There is also a weeping limestone wall that is also very beautiful.
